We wish to extend a very warm welcome and invite you to stay with us at Blackshaw Grange.
We are ideally situated between Leek (Queen of the Moorlands) and Buxton (a stunning spa town), in our own private grounds with views overlooking the Roaches, the gateway to the gorgeous Peak District.
The location is superb for outdoor activities such as climbing, walking and cycling.

Attractions are too many to mention but include the Chatsworth Estate, Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens and The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton.
For the shopping experience – The Potteries, Bakewell (the cutest, most beautifully kept town in our opinion) and the many markets in the area mean that there is always somewhere to be.

We are Kevin and Carolyn Williams, a local couple who owned a successful corner shop in Leek. We moved to Blackshaw Grange with our family in 1997. Over the years we have extensively upgraded and improved our cottages and work to keep a very high standard, which the Tourist Board have graded Four Stars. Ramshaw Rock is a cosy ground floor cottage, which is full of charm and character and is also ideal for couples that find stairs difficult. All of our cottages are well equipped and offer a comfortable, friendly, relaxing atmosphere. |

For a traditional country inn the “Shoes” offers 3 types of dining, just a two minute drive or a ten minute stroll (when alcohol is required).
We would love to meet you and introduce you to this beautiful part of England wherever in the world you are travelling from.
Kevin and Carolyn.
