The charities which make up the Blindcare partnership are committed to helping visually impaired people achieve their goals in every aspect of their lives.</P> <P>In the UK alone around one million people suffer from blindness or impaired vision. This may affect their education, livelihood and mobility, not to mention their confidence and self esteem. But you can help.</P> <UL> <LI>£13 could provide a day's care for a blind nursery school pupil <LI>£10 could fund an operation to restore the sight of a child in Africa </UL> <P>Payroll giving is the simplest and most effective way to give support. Because payroll giving is tax free, every pound you give to Blindcare will actually only cost you 77 pence, if you pay tax at the basic rate, or only 60 pence if you are a higher rate tax payer.
