For millions of people, blindness is a daily challenge to be overcome. The charities which make up the Blindcare partnership are committed to helping visually impaired people achieve their goals in every aspect of their lives.
In the UK alone around one million people suffer from blindness or impaired vision. This may affect their education, livelihood and mobility, not to mention their confidence and self esteem. But you can help.
Payroll giving is the simplest and most effective way to give support. Because payroll giving is tax free, every pound you give to Blindcare will actually only cost you 78 pence, if you pay tax at the basic rate, or only 60 pence if you are a higher rate tax payer.
You can give as much as you would like per month tax free. With effect from 6 April 2000, there are no limits to the donations you can make from your pay. Plus, for the next three tax years from April 2000, the Government will be automatically adding an extra 10 per cent to all employee donations
