The BMC is utilised by a number of local societies and clubs to accommodate their weekly meetings and activities, including:

    The Diocesan Resource Centre

    This library is run by the Hereford Diocese Board of Education. It contains 6500 books, videos, posters, CD's, slides, icons, photographs and artefact boxes about the Sikh, Islamic, Hindu, Christian and Jewish faiths as well as RE materials for teachers.

    All items are indexed online at www.bmcresources.org.uk

    The library is open from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and is staffed from 9am-1pm.

    All items are available on loan at no charge.

    Friars Walk Resource is a project for adults with a learning or physical disability. This project is run by Shropshire County Council Social Services Department.

    The BMC has provided start-up facilities for several new community organisations, helping them to take root by offering cheap rents, photocopiers, management help and supportive relationships. Examples, include:
