1/ Never pick up a Poppet or Pippin by their heads alone. They are NOT designed for this, and should only be picked up by their bodies. 

2/ Never place a Poppet or Pippin on a HOT radiator ledge or window sill where there will be extreme heat. They are ONLY made of clay, and are fragile. They might crack in these conditions.

3/ Never Place your Poppet or Pippin on a damp or wet window ledge, as this will ruin both the clay, & the hair.

4/ Remember Poppets & Pippins are NOT toys, and cant be treated as such because they are fragile.They are designed for viewing pleasure, and altar work ONLY.

5/ If you intend to use your Poppet or Pippin for magical work, you MUST cleanse them after each spell or ritual. Like any magical item (such as candles, stones) they will pick up energy each time you use them, so need to be cleansed. There is no special way of cleansing them. Just cleanse in much the same way as you do a candle, by holding it in your hand, and imagining a white light cleansing it till it's clean.
