Monday to Saturday inc. From 9am to 6pm Peals, Quarter Peals & General
Ringing
Sundays From 10am to 6pm Peals, Quarter
Peals & General Ringing
[Plus any Service Ringing
as required by visiting Clergy.]
Peal attempts must be
limited to 2 per day.
Quarter peals are equated
to 3 to a peal, thus are limited to 6 per day but not in addition to peal
attempts.
That is that 1 peal and 3
quarters are permissible.
There are no restrictions
on West Country call-change peals.
There should
be no peal or quarter peal ringing before or after the stated times except that
evening practice sessions may be arranged with the Island Manager or his
Deputy. Please bear in mind that Lundy is a holiday island and it would be a
shame to cause annoyance to other holidaymakers.
If evening
ringing is agreed it would be nice if a general practice and tuition session
could be offered to any resident island staff or other visiting ringers that
may be interested as these opportunities do not occur very often.
All Groups £25 per group for use of tower and bells.
Peals £6 per rope [Members of LIS
£2 per rope]
Quarter Peals £2 per rope [Members of LIS £1
per rope]
