PANCAKES

YOU WILL NEED

100g (3.5oz) plain flour

A pinch of salt

1 egg

300ml milk

A knob of butter

1. Sift the flour into a bowl with the salt. Then make a hole in the centre of the flour and break in the egg.

2. Mix the mixture and gradually add the milk, wisking to make a smooth batter.

3. Melt the butter in a frying pan. When its sizzling, pour in about two tablespoons of batter tilting the pan to spread the batter evenly.

4. Cook it until its golden on both sides and repeat until the batters finshed. then add the topping.
