Gamages

The famous Gamages store in Holborn, London retailed the products of many model railway manufacturers. A number of products were made for Gamages, and retailed under the Gamages trade mark. The catalogue shown is from 1954, by which time O Gauge was reduced to nine pages - five Lionel (including some very attractive operating accessories), one Marx, one Chad Valley, one Milbro (2 and 3 rail track), and one Bassett-Lowke (a clockwork Prince Charles). Gamages closed in 1972, and the building has been demolished.
