Bolton Magicians are a club that try to teach and promote the art of magic.
We meet fortnightly at the Doffcocker Inn on Chorley Old Road, Bolton and vary the meetings between lectures, workshop and video evenings.
The lectures are carried out by  professional performers who show their act and then explain their tricks.  We normally have a performer every third meeting.
The workshops consists of a subject such as rope magic being performed by a member then the group  slowly learn the moves.
The club has an extensive range of video's and DVDs. which can be borrowed by members. We arrange video evenings when performers can be viewed and discussed  or specific tricks reviewed and tried.
The club also possess a library of lecture notes; collected since conception of the club, which are available for members.
