Fewest days to win (best score) vs. the A.I. on 'Very Intelligent'

Owing to a change in the random number generator, the actual islands changed between version 3.x and version 4.x. This score table only applies to Windows version 4.0 and above of Slay (Palm versions 2.0 and above).

It should be noted that I accept wins where the A.I.'s choose to surrender (some purists believe you should totally obliterate all traces of your opponents, this score table does not).

Very small Islands

Small Islands

People Ask why I only have the fastest winds for "very small" and "small" islands and not "large" or "very large", there are two reasons for this. Firstly the AI doesn't play well when it has a large land area, therefore the smaller islands are more of a challenge. Secondly it takes enough work to maintain this page for two sets of islands without extending it to four.

If you have done better than this on any of the Islands, please submit your Slay.dat file (along with the name you want to appear on the high score table) to:

I need the slay.dat file because I have a program that automatically sifts through the scores, updates my bestslay.dat file and creates a text file of the updates that the web list requires. It is not easy to update the bestslay.dat file by hand as it is not in a human readable format.

In instances where multiple people score the same number of days for an island, the person who submits their score first gets onto the score table.
