 BoxZone

BoxZone (and BoxWorld) are logic puzzle games, where the idea is for

your character to push boxes (aka blocks) around a two dimensional map and onto

'end points', when all the boxes are on endpoints you have completed the puzzle.

"What's so hard about that?" I hear you ask, well you can only push boxes, you can't

pull them, and you can only push one box at a time. This means it is very easy

to push boxes into locations that you can't get them out of (in which case you

need to start the level over again).

BoxZone runs in a (full screen) Microsoft 'DOS box' or 'command prompt' and is compatible with W95/W98/Me/NT/2000/Xp

Download the demo version of BoxZone by clicking here (~46kb)

The demo version of BoxZone available from this download was last compiled

on 03/January/2004 and had Zones 0 to 29 available.

See a screen shot of a BoxZone level here

Some solutions to BoxZone levels are here

Before you purchase the full version of BoxZone please, please download the demo and try if on your machine first. A small percentage of (generally newer) graphics cards appear to be unable to support the old DOS graphics mode BoxZone uses. Check your machine can run the BoxZone demo before buying the full version.

You may purchase the full version of BoxZone

which has Zones 0 to 87 available from here for $9 (USD)

Exchange rates vary, however 9 US Dollars is about £5 or €7.5

If you were introduced to BoxZone through an Affiliate, please buy the game through them.

Doing so ensures they get the 'finders fee' which encourages them to continue to advertise for me.

The cost to you is exactly the same.

I wanted to be contactable at BoxZone_Author@hotmail.com

but hotmail prohibits the use of the word 'zone' so I had to use 'BoxZne_Author' instead

(this does have the advantage that email trawlers shouldn't be able to find me as easily)
