Curzon Street Station
Curzon Street Station was opened in 1838 as the terminus for the London and Birmingham Railway line from London Euston. It was designed as the twin of the old Euston station building, which, despite great public outcry, was demolished in 1962. It was also the terminus for the Grand Junction Railway and the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway. It was the main station in Birmingham until New Street Station was opened in 1854. It is a grade 1 listed building.
