    Many European country offers a number of special tours every year in which young people can join others of similar age and learn more of that country's way of life, traditions and culture. Specific ages are usually specified in the offers, which can come from anywhere in the world, but mostly from Europe

    Applicants pay the return fares, insurance cover and pocket money - all other expenses are provided by the overseas Rotary District unless otherwise stated

"Camp 1440 - Jutland" 27 July – 5 August 2008
Four days in Denmark - four days on the Faroe Islands - age 16 - 18
Theme: drama – music – tourism – cultural understanding
For the second time, the Danish Rotary Club of Randers West (Vestre) has joined forces with the Klaksvik Rotary Club on the Faroe Islands to arrange a unique camp experience for up to 25 young people. You are invited to take part in ‘Camp 1440’ on the mainland of Denmark – the peninsula of Jutland – followed by a trip to the Faroe Islands to experience the unique culture and spectacular scenery of these islands, located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, north west of Scotland and midway between Iceland and Norway.

“Sailing with “Jensine” in the Danish South Sea” 5th - 18th August
THE ROTARY CLUB OF VOJENS & HADERSLEV, DENMARK - age 17 - 21
See Southern Jutland (4 days) and go sailing with Jensine (1 week).
Haderslev is a town in southern Denmark, located on the beautiful east coast of the peninsula Jutland. The first days you will stay at Rotarians home and see the Southern part of Denmark. The oldest Danish city Ribe, a trip to the “Danfoss Universe” will be part of the program. After e few days the young “summercampers” will go on board “Jensine of Haderslev”. This is the oldest wooden sailing ship in Denmark. The guests are the crew! A certified Captain and 1^st Officer will be in charge on board.
