Tree of Light

The idea is to help Rotary Clubs throughout R. I. with a project to
support a local Charity of their own choice and to "Light up Rotary"
worldwide with an event to show unity within the Rotary Movement

The proposal is that your Rotary Club runs a "Rotary Tree of Light"
for your local Charity or for a community project in your district

With Rotary Clubs around the world taking part in this
Rotary Experience the money raised for local charities
and local communities in the UK alone
could total over
£ 10,000,000
Rotary clubs who share the same territory in Cities
Towns and Villages can combine to run a joint project

What about administration ?

That's easy

Each Rotary Club will be responsible for the administration and setting up
their very own "Rotary Tree of Light"
The money is not raised from your Rotarians but by your community
(although setting up costs may be sponsored). All your Rotary Club has
to do is use your Rotarian's organising skills to set it all in motion.

It's as simple as that

In the next few pages we will help put your Club on the right track to
show your community what caring in Rotary really means.

Your Rotary Clubs "Rotary Tree of Light" will help
your community, to help themselves, to help their local Charity
not only this year but every year with your "Rotary Tree of Light"

All we ask is that once your event is
complete you advise us of how much you raised
via Email
and we can let R.I. know that Rotarians really did

This is your Rotary Clubs opportunity to be part of an
Experience which could be so big it would normally be
beyond a Rotarian's wildest "Rotary Dream"
