Information and Criteria for Achievers from Europe
Period: 12th July to 26th July 2009
Sponsor Districts: District 1060 and Rotary Clubs in District 1060
Place: Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands
Participants: 4 Total (3 Girls: 1 Boy) 1 Applicant per country
Applicants from overseas will be accepted on merit
Age: 18 to 20 at 1st June 2009
(Applications outside this criteria will be refused)
Programme: A detailed programme will be sent to each applicant.
Language: English
Accommodation: 4 nights in Youth Hostels plus 10 days self-catering on "Dream Catcher"
Cost: 200 Euros contribution + spending money
Clothes: Usual clothing, personal effects, towels etc
Arrival/Departure: Arrive on 12th July at Birmingham International Airport (BHX)
There are direct links between all major UK airports to Birmingham. Should
students arrive at other airports
it will be their responsibility to arrange onward and return travel
to Birmingham. Return flight on
the 26th July
Insurance: Personal Possessions, illness, accidents and third party damages.
Written insurance confirmation will be required
Application: Confirmation to reserve a place as soon as possible
Followed by 2 copies of Youth Exchange application form in hard copy by 31st March.
