A short History of Me.

I have a very similar childhood to Duncan, as he is my big brother. I went to The New Church school in Colchester until I was 11. (I am standing in the back row next to the teacher). I then went on to the Boys High School also in Colchester. During my school years I lived in Marks Tey until I was 17, I then moved to Lowestoft to take a short course on boat building. After completing the course I moved to Woodbridge in Suffolk and lived there until 1989. During that time I changed jobs and spent six very happy years working for the U.S. Air Force on RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge. Both the bases closed down in 1993. I moved into Cambridgeshire in 1989 and took on a new role as a Residential Social Worker. I married in 1991 and over the next few year I became the father to four fantastic children.

As life often throws things at you that you don't want my wife and I separated in 2003 and divorce came along in 2004. But despite of divorce my ex-wife and I are still the parents of four children who we are both proud of.

Beliefs
Like my brother I was also brought up in a church going family. It was not until I lived in Woodbridge that I discovered that just "going through the motions" was not enough—I found out that God was interested in me personally. I was told that I needed to accept God into my life and I did so and have tried to live for Him ever since. I feel it is important to point out that anyone who says that faith is a "cop out" hasn't tried it!! Since 1988 I have been involved in Spring Harvest (the biggest Christian camp in Europe) as a team member. To find out more check www.springharvest.org

Hobbies.
In spring of 2003 a friend invited me to go to a Medieval weekend and with a lot of concerns I went. I did not expect to enjoy it, but I did!! As a result I am now getting into re-enacting as an archer.

Fare thee well!
