The Green Man - Guest Appearances

The Green Man was occassionally asked to appear without The Breinton Morris. This offer was always, of course, declined on his behalf. Even when it was asked if he'd appear in an "England, Their England" telly programme about Philip Booth's experience of being in Herefordshire, the side insisted on getting in on the act [there had been a previous tentative approach to have us on Top Of The Pops for a Mike Oldfield single, but there were union regulations preventing this. Instead, Pan's People did a little number with hankies!! Was this an impetus for the "revival" of Women's Morris?!!!].

Two extraordinary exceptions were made when he appeared with The Milton Morris, and when he became a regular presence at the Fools & Animals Instructional Weekends. No photos exist of the latter (go on, prove me wrong Chris Clarke!).
