weather receiver made by Timestep
the Ariel is a home brew QFH, the
signal is picked up from the appropriate Satellite as it passes over head by the
Prosat Timestep. receiver and the data is fed into the PC sound card, and that when the
appropriate satellite software takes over and then processes the data signal

Noaa 12 was Launched from
Vandenberg Air Force Base on an Atlas E. Rocket .
Noaa 14 was
Launched on May 14th 1991 from the Western Missile Launch Centre using a Atlas
E. Launch Vehicle.
