Ingoldsby Saint Bartholomew's Parish Church showing its south aiasle Early English arches

The beautiful Norman arches which separate the north aisle from the nave. These seem to be the only completely intact Norman architecture left in the building.

The south aisle is separated from the nave by a trio of Early English arches.

The beautiful early font in Ingoldsby Saint Bartholomew's Parish Church

These lead panels were samples of engravings made by plumbers who had repaired parts of the roof leading some time in the 18th or 19th centuries. The engravings consist of 'studded' shapes of shoes of differing sizes and other miscellaneous shapes etc. Has anyone seen similar adornments from other churches? Please e-mail if you have.  CONTACT US
