These lead panels were samples of engravings made by plumbers who had repaired parts of the roof leading some time in the 18th or 19th centuries. The engravings consist of 'studded' shapes of shoes of differing sizes and other miscellaneous shapes etc. Has anyone seen similar adornments from other churches? Please e-mail if you have.
