Roy Hempsall's 80th Birthday
On Saturday 13th October 2007 Roy celebrated his 80th birthday with his family and friends at the Greetham Golf Club near Oakham. Roy has given a lot time throughout his life to village activities, fundraising and committee work. For about 30 years he was a Committee Member of the Playing Field and Social Club and for some time he also served as Chairman. Roy also did much hard and long work for the Ingoldsby & District Country Fayre and Pony Club and was also its Chairman for some years. He is a very respected member of our village and community and it was a privilege for us all to celebrate his birthday with him!
