Hmmm, what to write here. Well, to cut a long story short, BIBA
was allegedly a shop situated in London in the 1970's. It sold
a variety of goodies for next to nothing and, somewhat unsurprisingly,
went bust. The following images were scanned from a pack of playing
cards, and while they are not strictly speaking from the forties
or fifties they are in the style of this period.
All the information, (such as it is), concerning BIBA came from
my mother and so is quite probably wrong, or at least highly inaccurate.
Apparently they sold really nice clothes as well, which I'm sure
you're glad to hear.
