Portsmouth dockyard P.A.S Boat

As a member of the Royal Navy, I was drafted to Portsmouth for nearly ten years. For about six of those years, I lived in Gosport, and had to catch a PAS boat across to Portsmouth dockyard. One day, after finishing off another glider, I built this little PAS boat from the scraps left over. The plans were created from a couple of photo's, and the thing took a couple of weeks to build. It is controlled by two channel R/C gear on 27 Mhz. Personel and supply boat

HMS Glasgow type 42 destroyer

This model is a scale replica of HMS Glasgow. I built seven of these for some of the members of the ships company. This one was the first finished, and the photo was taken actually on the fo'c'sle of HMS Glasgow for Navy news and other Navel publications. With me were the ships Captain (left) the WEO and the supply officer (oh... and me of course). lost againThis particular model is radio controlled and all the parts were hand made, including the fibreglass hull. The Seadart launcher alone has over 32 pieces to make it up. The model is made from the Glasgow dated 1995. {short description of image}
