Will of Silvester ALLIN of the Tower, London.  Probate 22 March 1636.  PROB 11/170.  Transcribed by Bryan Hoggarth April 2008. 

 

Memorandum – That whereas I Silvester ALLIN of the Tower Liberty London am now bound out in a voyage to Virginia beyond the Seas.  Now if in case it should please God to take mee out of this life before my return from Virginia I doe by this presents make and appoint my loving wife Elizabeth ALLIN to be my full Executor and doe give her all my goods Debts or whatsoever belonging to mee the said Silvester ALLIN.  Witness my hand and Seale the third day of July One Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Five.  Silvester ALLIN Sealed and ~~~~ his hand in presence of ~~~ Edward AMREY and Francis LACY.  

 

Memorandum – That Silvester ALLIN being upon the sea bound for Virginia in the Shipp called the Transport of London upon the six and twentith Daie of August last past or thereabouts being in perfect mynd and memorie on purpose to notifie this his last will and testament here unto annexed Spake their words or the like in effect wize I have already made my will and left it with my wife at London wherein I have made her my full executrix and have given her all my goods and Debts; and whatsoever is belonging to mee And further said upon the foresaid day that he would give nothing from her his said wife or spoke words to the same effect.  In the presence of Francis CLARKE and John TURWAY
