Margaret MUSGROVE (nee Cotterill), born 6 December 1881 Ryhope, married 30 May 1903 Newbottle, died 11 October 1957 Horden.
Martha Hann Musgrove (later CURTIES), born 9 December 1907, married 1931, died 20 March 1985 North Walsham.
Allen MUSGROVE, born 20 January 1880 Ryhope, died January 1954 Horden. When Allen went to the recruiting office at the start of WW1 he was asked how many children he had. Replying 5 he was told to go home as "he had an Army of his own to look after". Allen had a false nose. Edmund CURTIES (son of Martha) tells me that he had an accident down the pit. Due to lack of treatment the wound was infected and had to be amputated. This was enough of a novelty at the time that it was mentioned in the newspaper.
