The Parish Church of St Thomas the Apostle at Glaisdale. The view is to the East and I think Egton is on the skyline above the church.

A photo I took of the Glaisdale Church on a cold misty March day in 1997, At least I think it was then.

The Churchyard. There is also a newer part to the left.

A Plaque in the church porch listing the annual amounts left by:
Joseph Dale out of Parliament Field
Elizabeth Frank out of her Farm at Lealholm Lane
Thomas Boyes out of his small Farm at Stone Gate
George Hebron out of his Farm at Lealholm Side
Thomas Breckon out of his Farm at Glaisdale

A picture in the Church of Thomas Ferries, Alderman of Hull who is supposed to have paid for the building of Beggers Bridge. This is not mentioned in his will of which I have a copy (transcript below). Maybe he paid for it during his life.
