• Dr Sally Anne Woods and Leslie Ronald Arthur Bryan.

• An across the Channel e-mail romance culminated in wedding bells when Belton Horologist Leslie Bryan and Sally Woods, a former Kesteven and Sleaford High School girl recently celebrated their marriage at the parish church of St Peter and St Paul Belton, where Leslie is also Churchwarden. The Wedding Communion service was officiated by Rev Clifford Knowles and Rev Stuart Hadley. The church rang to the glorious sound of choir members from St George's Anglican Church Paris, where Sally has been based for the last 10 years as a biological scientist. A vin d'honneur in Belton village preceded a marquee reception at Barkston House, followed by a honeymoon in the Greek islands.
