Obviously longevity of the instrument is also a consideration, for instance some modern electrical/mechanical relays are rated at load, with a life of about 1,000,000 operations. At one operation a minute this relay would be beyond its design criteria after only two years. This scenario is therefore unacceptable and considerable research and design is undertaken to ensure product quality and longevity with minimal maintenance.

Back up power supplies and charging units are designed and constructed for all envoirementally harsh conditions, with the charging circuits specially designed with several stage charging rates incorporating heat cell sensors, to ensure extra longevity of the batteries. All electronic components used, are always of the highest quality possible with load ratings well in excess of what is required.

With each instrument produced, the customer receives the complete original design drawings, sketches, mathematical proof of calculations, and full servicing data, and this is normally presented as a spiral bound folder.

We have are own Printed Circuit Board manufacturing capabilities, so a new design of circuit can go from Schematic design, to the finished PCB board.

As we are also involved in MICRO ENGINEERING, we can specialise in the Modification and Repair of the SMALLEST SMD PCB boards, (Surface Mount Device) and associated electronic components.

All costs are on a time taken basis, and therefore relates to the amount of repairs or manufacturing required. Normally there is a minimum charge equivalent to One day cost, at present, October 2002, this is approximately £190.00

An Electronic Timing Instrument that has a constant guaranteed shut off interval of 4 n/seconds, designed and built for use in harsh environments.

 

  • High Precision Clock & Watch Timer Interface.
  • An Interface unit, that converts, vibration, sound, movement and magnetic fields, into very precise electronic square waves.
  • The generated square waves are read by an Electronic Universal Frequency Counter that has a High stability time base, and then the resultant timing information fed to a PC for final data processing.
