| NOTES FOR WALKERS Walking Speed Most of our Tuesday walks are at a moderately brisk speed of about 2.6 to 2.8 mph with an ascent of 350 to 450 feet. Weekend walks are usually slower and more relaxed. Walks that are outside the above parameters are highlighted in the programme. If you are in any doubt about your ability to cope with the above conditions please consult the Walks Leader.
