WINTER WALKS PROGRAMME Welcome to our walks Programme. We are very pleased to advise you that we have four new walks leaders. They are:- Ralph Burtonshaws -16th December Barbara Barfoot - 6th January Danny Landers - 27th. January Ron Harris - 3rd February Please give them your support. For details please see the following pages of the Programme. We still need more new volunteers to lead walks and also help run the Group. | DATES TO NOTE RA Festival of Winlter Walks - 26th.December to 4th. January. We have walks on 28th. & 30th. December and 3rd January Essex Area A.G.M. 7th. Feb. 2009 At Stock Village Hall (TQ 694992) between 10.00 & 13.00. After lunch participants are invited to join one of two walks organised by members of the host Group. |

NOTES FOR NEW WALKERS Newcomers are welcome on up to three walks before joining the RAMBLERS' ASSOCIATION , 2nd. Floor, Camelford House. 87-90, Albert Embankment, London, SE1 7TW. For information please contact Bernie Haddy or Richard Paternoster. For contacts please see our Committee page. All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception. In spite of the safety of members always being the paramount concern, accidents may occasionally occur. It is important, therefore, that when entering into the activity, each member appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards associated with the activity and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise. |
