Leather Cleaning

Leather upholstery seems to be becoming more and more popular and whilst leather is easier to keep clean than some fabrics, it still needs to be professionally cleaned to remove ground in soil. It is also important to 'feed' leather regularly to keep the hide supple and to stop it cracking. If you look after your leather it should long outlast other fabrics.

Most leather suites today are made from semi aniline dyed hides and can be easily and safely cleaned using our 3 part system, first we clean the hide with a soap based product that cleans deep into every crevice of  your suite, then after removing all the soil we apply a conditioner / protector which is wiped on and buffed off, once removed this process is repeated to ensure that the hide is completely reconditioned.

Central heating creates a very dry heat around a house and can dry out leather quickly. When leather starts to dry out it can crack and if this happens it is difficult and expensive to repair, so ensure you have your leather upholstery cleaned and conditioned regularly.
