Reds' Players' gallery@bugcafe (Past and Present).

Due to the recent high turn over of players, this gallery does not feature many of the present squad. We hope to rectify this as the 2005/06 Season progresses.

Goalkeepers...

Former England Under-21 International and Reds' First choice Goalkeeper Paul Gerrard was snapped up on a free transfer from Everton after an impressive loan spell with Forest at the end of the 2003/04 Season.

Republic of Ireland Under-21 International Goalkeeper Barry Roche, was formerly Forest's reserve keeper.

Defenders...

Former French Under-21 international defender Matthieu Louis-Jean. He joined Norwich city after the 2004/05 season.

Jan Olav Hjelde left Forest at the end of the 2002/03 Season and made a short return during the 2004/05 Season.

Midfielders...

Republic of Ireland International Midfielder Andy Reid joined Spurs in January 2005.

Midfielder Andy Impey is currently on the transfer list.

Strikers...

Jamaican International striker Marlon King is on long term loan with a view to a permanent move to Watford.

David Johnson is currently on the transfer list.

"There's only one decent Lester!" Striker Jack Lester that is. He was released by Forest at the end of the 2002/03 Season, but fortunately returned from Sheffield United mid-way through the 2004/05 Season

Some former Reds...

"You'll never beat Des Walker!"
Former England International Central Defender Des Walker retired at the end of the 2003/04 Season after a long and distinguished career that included two spells at the City Ground.

Goalkeeper Darren Ward who joined Norwich at the start of this season.

Scottish international midfielder and one time Forest fans' favouriteGareth Williams. He left the Reds for Leicester and presumably more money despite the offer of a new Forest contract at the end of the 2003/04 Season.

Forest's long term loan striker, Nottingham born Darren Huckerby made an instant impact at the City Ground which helped to fire the Reds towards the 2002/03 Play-Offs. But that was not enough to tempt him to stay at the City Ground!

Canadian International Jim Brennan left the Reds for a better pay deal at Norwich where he was later joined by Darren Huckerby.

Reds' former striker Marlon Harewood who was sold to west Ham and instantly replaced in the Forets attack by another Marlon (King).

The sadly departed and gifted £5 Million Jermain Jenas, now a full England international.

Former Forest favourite veteran keeper, Dave Beasant.

Former Reds' midfielder Nicky Summerbee. Sadly his Forest career was cut short by injury before he had signed a permanent contract!

England Under-21 international David Prutton, sold to Southampton.

And finally...

... no photo-gallery of the Reds' heroes would be quite complete without Sherwood!
