£205 +p&p
The "Tenchi" (Heaven and
Earth) katana uses our most durable material for its blade construction. The
blade body is a 9260 silicon alloy carbon spring steel. It is handsomely
finished with a cast brass Musashi Double Ring tsuba that is thicker than the
standard steel tsubas with an antiqued finish. This sword has a heftier and more
antiqued look and feel than other steel fitted blades.
(The no-fuller version
blade has a more forward center of gravity heavier weight. This type of blades
have more lateral strength and are easier for tameshigiri from the weight and
the reduced drag. Whereas the varient with fuller is better for kata practice,
the no-fuller varient is better for cutting practices.)

Like our "Tenchi, the
"Shura" katana uses our most durable material for its blade construction. The
blade body is a 9260 silicon alloy carbon spring steel. It is finished with a
clean and unetched blackened steel milled mokko shape tsuba. It is a simple
design with no artwork on tsuba, fuchi, or kashira... elegance in simplicity and
a tough blade to boot.

Using a through hardened 1060
carbon steel blade, this sword matches our "Mokko" katana in almost every way except in blade
and handle length. This blade is created in response to our surprisingly popular
ko-katana (chisa katana) lines where the katana length tsuka (grip) is matched
up with the wakizashi length blade.

Our Type 6 blade is a hand
clayed differentially tempered blade. This is the most popular and most
traditional method by which a Japanese sword is finished. The blade is clayed
completely by hand, and hardened to create an stronger cutting edge while the
backbone of the blade remains a more lower hardness to absorb the forces of
impact. The hand claying creates an uniquely beautiful hamon that is rare to see
at this price range.

Our Type 3 "Mokko" katanas
is an extremely well heat treated and tempered monosteel blades. Its
construction is that of an oil quenched 1060 carbon monosteel. Perfect as an
introductory dojo cutter for light to medium targets. The second generation
Mokko uses two mekugi and has a blackened tsuba and is much more attractive than
the first generation.

This sword is created as a
custom sword for specialized martial arts practices. Using a through hardened
1060 carbon steel blade and the Mokko Bamboo tsuba (aftermarket), this sword is
unique in the following way:
- 21" blade body
- 10.5" tsuka
- Standard 30" length saya
The short blade housed in
the long saya is intended to be a visual deception in which the practitioner can
clear the blade from the scabbard faster than their opponent.

The "Oniyuri" (Tiger Lily)
katana is a custom made 9260 spring steel blade specialized for practice by
specific ryu-ha of the Bujinkan Federation. The blade body is a 9260 silicon
alloy carbon spring steel. Blade is a unique 23" and handle is an even rarer 14"
in length. It is a shinobi (ninja) sword with the apparence of a katana. The
forms of this blade follows the functions that it serves. For more information,

(The no-fuller version
blade has a more forward center of gravity heavier weight. This type of blades
have more lateral strength and are easier for tameshigiri from the weight and
the reduced drag. Whereas the varient with fuller is better for kata practice,
the no-fuller varient is better for cutting practices.)

face of the blade. This is a true folded steel katana that is ideal for display
and sharp enough for cutting.

The Higo katana is
constructed of laminated steel similar to the traditional "san mai" method of
blade construction. Core billet of the second generation Higo uses a 9260
silicon alloy spring steel. The core is then wrapped around two billets of 1045
carbon steel. The forged blade is then sharpened to expose the 9260 core as the
cutting edge. The new Higo is a much stronger and uniquely constructed cutter.
The new Higo is different
than any other "laminated" blades on the market at its price range. The
lamination on the Higo can be visually and chemically tested and verified...

The Ichi Maru katana is our
most affordable live blade. It is constructed of a through hardened 1045 carbon
monosteel. The second generation Ichi Maru has improved blade geometry as well a
cleaner, more attractive fitting and tsuba as well as two mekugi. This hand
forged, hand sharpened, and hand polished blade is unbeatable in value.

The Kaze (Wind) is the
result of many popular requests for a clay tempered (hardened) blade using our
9260 Silicon Alloy Spring Steel. The blade body of the Kaze is a hand clayed and
differentially heat treated 9260 silicon carbon spring steel. It is finished
with a replica of an antique blackened cast steel tsuba submitted to us. This
steel is stronger than our Kanbai katana, but does not have the same resiliency
of the through hardened 9260. The gain from the clay hardening is that the blade
has a smooth and elegant natural hamon (9260 does not generate the same hamon as
the Kanbai katana).

Our Type 7 wakizashi employs a

Our Type 7E blade shares the
same construction as our type 7 in that it uses the through hardened 1045 carbon
monosteel. The only difference between the two blades is that the 7E has an
extended 10.5" tsuka. This design is made at the request of a karate dojo for
their specialized cutting practices.

Our Type 8 Iaito is
constructed of through hardened 1045 carbon steel. The assembly and tolerances
are exactly the same as our sharpened blades... only dulled at the cutting edge
for kata practice. Unlike the zinc/aluminum blades, his iaito has a weight and
center of balance identical to a regular katana.
