Long ago in early 1977, when I was still but a lad, I bought a lovely 3 year old Toyota Celica 1600 ST (TA22). It came from Foster’s Motors in Southend-on-Sea and cost me £1,595 - I still have the receipt!
I can’t quite remember why now, but my Celica was immediately given the name ‘Fang’ and this has stuck ever since.
Happily I still own and cherish this car and get tremendous enjoyment from driving it around the Lake District during the summer months. Please visit the Celica Page to have a look at some recent photographs.
