About the Trail
The Burley History Trail was created by a group of young people, under the Young Enterprise Scheme, organised by the Burley Youth Forum.
Funding for the project came from Barclays New Futures and by the businesses and people of Burley sponsoring various commemorative plaques that identify the locations on the trail.
Historical information has been obtained from various publications, including those of Mr. and Mrs. D Warwick, and Mr. F Newbould.
