14 Queens Hall
This was formerly the Lecture Hall and was presented to the village by Forster and Fison in 1868 as a place for recreational pursuits. The east end of the building was used as a school. The building remained the property of the Fison Company until it was bought by the Burley Urban District Council in 1935 for £3,600. The two crosses standing in front of the hall were erected by the people of the village in remembrance of Forster and Fison.
