tomato plants in large pots indoors
at the end of October 2008. I
found that these plants developed very slowly over the winter months.
In March I started to put the plants outside on the patio on
fine days. The first tomato ripened on the 23rd April. However,
a bird ate it. I now net the plants when they are outside! The
plants are doing well now that it is getting warmer and there are lots
of flowers. I am harvesting and eating the tomatoes as they
ripen. They are only small, but very tasty!
