Welcome to BUZZRAIL, the official website of the Leighton Buzzard Railway, one of England’s top narrow-gauge heritage lines. It’s a little railway with a big story to tell, and is close to home for many people–an important factor with today’s sky-high fuel prices.

The 2011 season starts on Sunday 13th March, with a Comic Relief  fundraising event, so bring your red nose and join in the fun. And keep the weekend of 14th-15th May free for our Great Coffee Pot Fest. There has never been anything quite like it before!

We are not raising our fares this year, despite the increase in VAT and other rising costs, so come and enjoy a great bargain while it lasts!

We are a non-profit charitable organisation, run and managed by volunteers. We have many openings for anyone who wants to put a skill to good use, or maybe even learn some new ones. Come and talk to us.

If you are thinking of making a donation to help any of our projects, and are a UK income tax payer, remember the value of Gift Aid–the government’s contribution towards good causes–reduces from 28p to 25p in the pound from 5th April. Sooner rather than later would be good, therefore.
