Obviously, a project of this size needs money, and lots of it.

We are happy to announce that the funds required to complete the works, and put No 778 back into full working order, have now been raised. Our grateful thanks go to all the individuals and organisations whose generosity, in cash and kind, helped make this fantastic project a success. Our attention is now turning to making provision for its maintenance and overhauls in the future.

Any size of donation is appreciated, whether one-off or spread over a period of time, and UK taxpayers can increase the value of their donations by allowing us to recover income tax through Gift Aid.
