With Clarlet® 1.6 AS, Carl Zeiss offers you an optimum combination of a high-index plastic material and an aspheric lens design. If you need high powers, Clarlet® 1.6AS will provide you with thinner, lighter lenses. A long-sighted wearer requiring a power of +6.00D, for instance, can more than halve the weight of his or her lens by switching to Clarlet® 1.6AS from a standard glass lens. And the centre thickness can be reduced by over 20% compared to a standard plastic lens.
