Intermediate IT Optional Unit 5 LAB 2
Scenario: A driving school has requested that a computerised training model is developed for teaching the theory part of the driving test. Part of the model is required to demonstrate the traffic light changes for a pedestrian crossing.
The Driving School Director envisages a dual set of working lights, one for pedestrians and one for traffic. A car should be demonstrated approaching the lights and obeying the rules of the Highway Code. The lights should change demonstrating the correct light sequences.
The moving car should respond correctly to the traffic light sequence, that is stopping on red and moving off again on green.
So that the model is interactive the viewer should be able to operate a pedestrian button to request to cross the road.
Plan, design, construct and test a Visual Basic programme that will
achieve this.
