More Sky Extra Channels
The Astra 2 Position of 28 Deg East is a new spot mainly for UK transmissions intended for reception on the Sky Minidish, so there aren't many other Channels at this position.
If you have another dish at pointing at slightly different parts of the Sky then many more channels become available to you.
Different Satellites have different footprints (the strength of signal on different locations) and they also have different signal strengths, weaker Satellite signals require bigger Dishes to get enough signal for your Digital Satellite receiver to work.
Note, water in the air degrades the strength of a signal from a Satellite, with anything apart from clear cloudless sky the reception will be affected, in very rainy conditions you can lose pictures completely.
HOTBIRD
After Astra 1, the next most highly populated position for channels over Europe is 13 Degrees East (known as Hotbird),
a list of channels at this position can be seen on Lyngsat
http://www.lyngsat.com/hotbird.shtml (Only those with Symbol Rates of 22000 or 27500 work on a Digibox)
You could be watching the following channels on your Sky Digibox with a suitable dish pointing at 13 Degrees East

People have claimed that the Sky Minidish (obviously pointing in the correct place) can bring in HOTBIRD in the UK, I would think this was very dependant on which channels were viewed and being located in the South and having clear weather conditions.
I am not suggesting the Sky Digibox is totally suitable as a "multi Satellite" receiver, but it can be used. Notes about switching between Satellites.
ASTRA 1
On the old SKY analogue position of Astra 1 at 19 degrees East you can get dozens more channels, mainly German.
The Sky Minidish (obviously pointing in the correct place) can bring in ASTRA1 in the UK. I have tried the Sky Minidish on Astra 1 at 19 Degrees East and it brings in plenty of signal for the digital channels in Central England.
To see what is on ASTRA1 see the "More Sky Extra Channels on Astra 1" page
