Hiroshima, the first city to be destroyed by an atomic bomb.

Now the sole remaining building following the dropping of the A-Bomb on Hiroshima,
the "A-bomb Dome" is a World Heritage Site. Modern Hiroshima surrounds the old Municipal Offices.
This picture was taken from within the Peace Park, and not far from the epicentre of the A-bomb blast.
