Mt. Chokai
The beautiful Mt. Chokai, at 7000ft, stands over Yuza and the surrounding area. As the winter snows melt, the locals look on the mountain slope to see the shape of an old man in the snow, bending over planting his rice. When they see the 'Old Man of Chokai' winter really is over, and so rice planting begins.
