And there stood by the light of the bright sun a knight of such honour and reverency that when their shadow fell upon any being, a feeling of intense peace, comfort, and safety arose. Through the mighty one's eyes, I can see into the depths of their soul, where the calm such as before the storm resides. This person is known by all here, a member both revered and feared. Strength of a giant, wisdom beyond the years, bearing a charisma a bard could only wish for...
Resplendant in shining armour and grasping at the pommel of their swords, prepared to charge into battle to defend the weak, clutching at their purse to give money to the poor, and saying silent prayers to heal the sick. Equally adept as teacher, friend, confidante, student, and warrior, they have toured all the realms we know, and mastered them as their time has come.
Innocence both lost and found are in their heart, touching something deep within those that they come into contact with, spreading knowledge of one or the other as need be... for these traits are of experience and the child-like naivety that all begin with.
You have no face Mighty One, for you are us all. You are the collective essense that is created when we all maintain our duties. You have a Code of Honour that goes beyond what anyone can describe in words, for it lingers within your heart, and contains what we all feel... as no one can encompass the whole. You have bravery beyond the imaginings of the young, or the hopes of the old, for you are the one that will always protect us. You have strength greater than Atlas, for yours is the strength borne of mind as well as body. Wisdom greater than the eldest of scholars and scrolls are contained within you, shared among the masses and passed on through the generations so that all will know. You teach us and you learn from us, as you are fair, just, and reasonable, not letting your greatness impede your thirst or eternal quest for knowledge.
I swear by my faith and allegiance to the guild to follow you to the grave and beyond if the call is put up to me. We are all small parts fo the whole, from the highest to the lowest, from king to beggar, from mirage to squire, none are better than another... only one with greater time, experience, and patience...
