New PC's

You may have had a PC for years and simply want to move up to a more powerful machine to take advantage of today's prices or get one for the first time. The first thing you should do if that's the case, is to decide what you want the machine for. Then decide on your budget.

You'd be wasting your money if, for example, you had a thousand pounds to spend and bought the latest, fastest and most powerful machine you could get for that money if all you wanted to do was write a few letters and connect to the Internet to collect your email.

We would happily and freely advise you before you made any purchase. Bear in mind that if your interested in playing the latest games then it would be wise to have a more powerful machine if your budget allowed.

Considerations

Don't forget to take into account things like space - where will you site the PC - do you think you'd be better off investing in an LCD screen which takes less power and much less room for instance? They have come down in price tremendously.
