Peter Chandler PhD CEng CSi

Peter Chandler is the Owner and Managing Director of CA Technology. He has 30 years experience in the field of Surface Engineering and in the development and application of advanced materials and coatings. He gained his PhD in Surface Physics at the University of Southampton and has since worked in both the public and private sectors of industry in Europe and North America.

Peter is active in International R&D programmes and is an Expert Evaluator and Observer for the European Commission's FP6 nano-technology programme. He is also currently the Project Manager for a large European programme for the development of Advanced Coatings for gas turbines.

Peter has worked with clients on a wide range of market research and business strategy commissions. Clients range form multi-Nationals through to high tech SME's from North America, Africa, Europe and Japan.

Dame Wendy Hall DBE FRS FREng

Wendy Hall is a director of CA Technology whose main interests are in the development of Web technologies (particularly the Semantic Web), open hypermedia systems and link services, advanced knowledge technologies, digital libraries, multimedia information management, agent-based systems and human computer interaction.CA Technology is currently investigating ways to apply these leading edge technologies to help Engineering companies manage large volumes of technical and business data.

Current projects include the development of ontologies for engineering and Web generated databases to build a dynamic tool for business.

Mike Quigley PhD CEng

Mike Quigley is a Senior Consultant with CA Technology specialising in high energy beam technologies, market research and the development of business strategy plans for clients.Mike has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from London University.

Mike has extensive knowledge of advanced spraying processes, plasma engineering, laser engineering, NDE and diagnostics.

Mike has worked extensively on economic and IP issues at Board level within the Power Generation and Advanced Materials industries.

Scott Moore PhD

Scott Moore is a Senior Consultant with CA Technology specializing in materials issues.

Scott is a former semiconductor engineer and he has performed analysis of markets in electronics, aerospace and other high technology fields, written on a range of topics in technology and performed technology assessment for various industrial, academic and governmental organizations.

Scott obtained his PhD in Materials Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
