This new DVD produced by Belbin Associates explains the 9 clusters of behaviour on which the language of Team Roles is based.

 

About Fire, Toast and Teamwork

Fire, Toast and Teamwork is designed to introduce and explain the Belbin Team Role model. It is ideal for use by trainers, facilitators, HR consultants, team leaders, educationalists and anyone who needs to help people understand the Belbin Team Role model.

The film introduces and explores Belbin Team Roles through animation and a more traditional team decision making situation. This is not a traditional management team however as the setting is an imaginary historical situation that may have applied thousands of years ago where the challenge for the team is to 'expand the cultural influence of their cave'.  Faced with this challenge the team demonstrates the use of the Belbin Team Role model to enable them to introduce "fire" to the world and thus enhance their status and influence.
