Second Nature Life Support is a not-for-profit UK company and Registered Charity that provides Nature Therapy support and products to assist in well-being and healthcare improvements.
The use of plant extracts and herbal remedies have been well known over the centuries, but have gained new medical appeal as recent discoveries from yew trees for cancer drugs, rhubarb extracts for digestive diseases, and compounds from St John’s Wart for Parkinson’s have given advancement in patient treatment and care. Second Nature Life Support is working with leading UK universities, companies, and health organisation to evaluate, investigate, and commercialise new potential ideas and research..
We are also working with community groups to demonstrate that participation by individuals in nature therapy activities has a very positive impact on recovery and healthcare.
To demonstrate our commitment to bio-diversity, Winthrop Park was created from a former derelict Sewage Treatment Works. This contaminated brown-field site is now converted in to a Nature Therapy Park, seeing visitors from around the world.
