In July it was Marie who sat in here on sixteen eggs. Sixteen duckling eventually hatched and now it's Josephine's turn. She started sitting on twelve eggs and in October 2007 managed to successfuly hatch eight. It's quite late in the year and we're starting to get early morning frosts so we'll be keeping a close eye on them. It will be a few weeks yet until we know how many boys and girls she's got.
