LENNON JOINS STONES

Q: Who (or what) links Paul Simon and Keith Richards? A: Bill Lennon Yep! Bill has swapped his Martin Acoustic for Keef's 'plumber's wrench' - a Telecaster - and has joined the UKs premier Stones tribute outfit - the Counterfeit Stones

Despite being far too healthy looking (and young) to play Paul Simon - let alone Keith Richards, Mr. Lennon has agreed to undergo a weekly blood transfusion at the medical centre of urban myths to 'inhabit' the part of his mentor...

We at Chatstuff wish him well in his new job - he's still doing his old (S&G) one - and thank the Counterfeits for their eye-catching 'Lennon joins...' headline...which we have shamelessly stolen...

ELLA - The Musical

Paul McNulty of the Lazy Saviours and his songwriting collaborator Bob Breckwoldt have written a new musical for schools...'Ella' is based on an Eastern-European treatment of Cinderella and is currently being workshopped at a school in Stockport with a view to a first complete performance this summer...contact Chartstuff to hear some glittering pop melodies that communicate instantly - as all good pop should...and say hello to some new, vividly drawn characters such as The Prince, Funky Blaine and the Aesthetically Challenged Sisters...

VERY NEW ALBUM

Jim Hughes of the James Clarke Five and the Lazy Saviours goes divining on Mono Beach with Joe Meek and discovers a beautiful album built on ITV comedy ley lines...
